Hope you are doing amazing! I’ve been down in Florida for a few days at the Fitness Info Summit. It was very cool to meet so many of you in person!

Wish you all could have made it.

On Friday, I gave it my all with a 2-hour presentation on finding a niche market, creating products, getting more done in less time, and on writing sales copy.

It was pretty intense. But a lot of fun.

As you know, I think being in a Mastermind group is the most important step in your path to success, so that’s why you hear about me going to so many of these meetings.

You get a chance to network with some real sharp people, and they’ll give you powerful feedback on what you need to do to improve your products and marketing. (Plus, they are always a ton of fun.)

I’ll be talking more about our mastermind later, but over the weekend I spent a lot of time thinking about some keys to success that almost no one talks about…and here they are:

1) Delayed gratification

People who want everything NOW always seem to struggle at building a successful business. After all, there’s pretty much no such thing as overnight success.

All of the big time successful guys and gals that I know, like Bedros Keuilian, Carrie Wilkerson, Mike Geary, Vince Del Monte, and Holly Rigsby, ALL put in their “time” and paid their dues to work hard to get where they are now.

So don’t “demand” miracles. Be patient and do your work everyday. Success will come.

2) People who make the most money are the most prolific – the ones who create the most products.

Last week I added product #123 to my Turbulence Training Clickbank account. Plus, I have 3 other fitness websites that sell product, as well internet business coaching and my Online Second Paycheck System.

This gives me almost 150 entry points into “my world”, where I can continue to build powerful relationships with my new clients and friends.

Contrast that to a business that revolves around just one product.

Unless you miraculously crack the ad words code, being a prolific product provider will CRUSH a single product business every time.

3) Successful people do a million things at once

Now don’t get me wrong, I want you to stay focused, but you need to be doing a million things to get people to know about your products, to promote your products, and to keep your clients happy.

Plus, you must always be thinking about the future and creating a long-term vision and moving towards it.

It may seem chaotic, but if you have systems in place, you can be involved in “millions of things” that will move you to your goal.

4) Saying, “May I interview you please”

Carrie Wilkerson taught me this one, and it’s a killer tip. One of the best ways to break into an “inner circle” is by offering help first, and that includes interviewing big name experts to promote them to your list first, before you go asking them for help.

This is a killer action tip you can put into practice today.

5) People are interested in people with passion – and the most successful people are extremely passionate about what they do.

As I taught on the weekend, when choosing your niche market, you need to focus on an area where you are passionate.

For example, I love helping and teaching people, and that’s why I’m writing this message on a Sunday afternoon while I have a couple hour break between social events. I love doing this.

And that’s how you need to feel about your business.

If you let your passion die, then you business will too.

Stay passionate!

PS – Passion + a mentor = success!

Never forget, the easiest way to succeed is to get help from someone who is already successful and has made mistakes so that you don’t have to make the same ones.

Get involved in a mastermind group or with a coach as soon as you can.

Success isn’t complex. Making more money online is simple.

Yes, it’s simple. But it’s not easy. You need to do some work and just as
importantly, you need someone to show you the way.

Nothing helped me more than investing in my education – from manuals to
coaching to full-on Masterminds, those are all guaranteed to give me a sweet
return on my investment.

And in addition to those “locks”, here are 5 other “secrets” to success
(”secrets” of course, that everyone should know, but doesn’t always act on).

1) TAKE ACTION.

Period.

There’s nothing more important than taking action. An article about Sam
Walton – founder of Walmart – claimed that he was less afraid of failure
than anyone else the author ever met.

And that’s why he was out there taking action everyday.

2) Fill a GAP in the marketplace.

From my Veggie Meal Plans, to my Kettlebell program, to my bodyweight
programs, all of these have been in response to feedback from clients and
prospects.

They showed me the way to a hole in the marketplace and I filled it.

At a recent Mastermind meeting, my friend Barry Dunlop recommmended an old
classic book, “The Secret to Money is Having Some” by Stuart Wilde.

Internet Marketing legend Perry Belcher, who was sitting beside me, said the
book could be summed up in 2 sentences.

i) Identify a problem people are having.

ii) Solve it.

That’s it. That’s all you need to do.

3) Create Converting Content & Copy

The content needs to be the problem, and your copy needs to convince your
prospects you have the solution.

That’s it.

It’s nothing more than that simple.

You might need more help with that last one, and that goes beyond what I can
fit into a single email – one that anyone would have the patience to read of
course.

In fact, something that important needs an entire book dedicated to it…

But if you aren’t interested in that, at least follow this “Product Development & Promo Checklist”:

1). Survey your list before you create the product. One of the cheapest ways is to survey the readers via your blog, or simply by email.

2). Be passionate about your product, your market, and the problem you are solving.

3). Never create a product unless you have a HOOK that will separate your product from the thousands of others on the market. You MUST be REMARKABLE.

4). Create a product that allows you to charge a high price and to create an even higher-priced upsell.

5). Bootstrap the product creation. Don’t spend a lot of money on filming or on a fancy site until you’ve proven the product sells. Also, if you are creating hard copies, only use a print-on-demand service.

6). Over-deliver. Throw in extra unannounced bonuses. Give at least 10x’s the value of the product in your offer. Create a really sweet offer for your sales page.

7). Release the product with at a discounted price in a pre-launch promo. This is one of the only times to discount your price.

8). Create an event to promote your product. Build up anticipation. Do something unique. How can you be remarkable? In my last promo, the blog contest I did right before my promo built up desire and anticipation for my
Fat Burning Solution promo.

9). Focus on the deadline in your promo to make folks TAKE ACTION. Without a deadline, people will take forever to “pull the trigger”. Don’t let them procrastinate.

10). Once the product launches successfully, start working on supporting products (maybe even a membership site) to get customers to stick with the program and purchase future products from you in the future.

11). Promote high-quality related affiliate products to your customer list that will help them get more results. For example, I love promoting Isabel De Los Rios’ meal plans to my fat burning workouts list.

12). Be prolific. Don’t stop creating content, having sales, producing follow up products, gathering affiliates, doing interviews, or anything that could promote your product. Always be HUSTLING!

Follow those 12 steps and you’ll have the perfect product,
