On Sunday morning I was driving to the dog park bright and early, at about 6:30am. I was tuned into the local Rock station, and they were replaying an interview with an up-and-coming band, “Sound and Fury”.

The name struck me as familiar. And as I listened to the lead singer, I realized this was a guy I had trained in Toronto 2 years ago.

Every workout he would come in and talk about his band and how they were going to get a record deal. I didn’t know much about it, so I wished him well, but had my doubts. After all, who hasn’t been told that story before?

But sure enough, they did it. They’ve even been on tour across the States. And as I look back on our workouts, I realize that every time he talked about his band, he said, “We’re going to do this.
We’re going to do that.”

He never once said, “We’re going to TRY and do this. Or TRY and do that.” His mind was already made up. It was only a matter of time before they succeeded.

And that’s the attitude that you have to have. If you don’t, then I recommend you scrap your ideas for a website and move on to some other business plan where you have more confidence.

There is no Trying. Only doing.

And yes, I know Yoda said something like this in Star Wars. But so did one of the Turbulence Training users on my site, www.TTMembers.com.
