Thinking Big

images Thinking Big

This weekend I started reading a book called, “The Magic Of Thinking Big”, by Dr. David J. Schwartz. It’s very similar to Dr. Maxwell Maltz’ “Psycho-Cybernetics”, although you have to give Dr. Schwartz the edge as far as book titles are concerned.

Here are the 3 best lines I’ve written down in the first 50 pages…

1) “Believe, really believe, you can succeed, and you will”

2) The “OK, I”ll give it a try but I don’t think it will work” attitude produces failures.

3) “The thinking that guides your intelligence is much more important than how much intelligence you have.”

Powerful stuff. Not bad for a 50 year old book.

This reminds me, I should update my book reading list…

Click Here for my Previous book list

In the past 2 months or so, I’ve read…

1) No BS Marketing to the Affluent – Kennedy

2) No B.S. Business Success – Kennedy

3) Meatball Sundae – Seth Godin

4) The Dao of Seo – Ken Sproul

5) SEO for Google

6) Traffic Secrets 2.0 – John Reese

And up next are…

a) The Purposeful Primitive – Marty Gallagher

b) Celebrity Branding You – Nick Nanton

c) Body For Life – Bill Phillips (going back to a Classic)

Let me know what you’ve been reading,

Hi Craig,

I am reading and re-reading “The Secret”. Each time I read it, I pick up something new. It’s all in how we frame our thinking.

At the moment I am reading the old classic “How To Win Friends and Influence People”. Great stuff. Just finished “The Superior man” and the “Google Story”.

Keep it up Craig.

Hey CB,

Back from vacation and picked up and read a few books…
currently reading Brian Tracy’s “Focal Point”.
Just finished “Psychocybernetics” (again) and “Chasing Cool”.

That first Schwartz quote is incredibly powerful.
