Ad Copy Made Easy

You don’t need to be the world’s greatest copywriter in order to put a few words on your website that will help convince your readers to buy your product.

And that’s all that “ad copy” is…its just words that convince readers to do something.

So let’s take a look at the absolute bare minimum you need on your site.

(Checking out the ad copy at is a good place for examples on all of this.)

1) Headline

This is the most important aspect of your site. If your headline stinks, the visitor will leave. Doesn’t matter how good the rest of the site is. Make sure they know that you can solve their problem and the product will benefit them big time. That’s it.

In the July Issue of the OSP Newsletter, I will be showing you how I fixed two of my OSP Mastermind Member’s headlines. Worth the price of admission right there.

2) Introduce yourself and build crediblity

Doesn’t need to be your life story, just make sure they know who you are…

3) Social Proof/Testimonials

Use these to build crediblity, overcome objections, etc. See for great testimonials.

4) Overcome Objections

Address every reason that your prospect might choose NOT to buy.

You can use stories, case studies, bullets, facts, testimonials, etc. to do this.

5) Make a Great Offer

Make them realize they would be foolish not to take advantage of your offer.

6) Call To Action

Make sure you give them a way to take action. (I.e. Click Here to Buy)

7) Give a Strong Guarantee

If you stand by your product, you’ll have no problem with this.

8) PS

Sum up the entire page in the PS – cover the offer, the guarantee, and give them the call to action.

That’s it.

You could have your ad copy done in an afternoon.

Or you could rely on someone else and waste weeks and lose thousands of dollars.

Helping you make more money online,

Nicely put Craig. I’m right in the middle of re-writing my ad copy for my site (the stuff I have on there right now is pretty pitiful) and this outline is really going to help me improve it.

After listening to what Vince said in your interview about how he hired a professional copywriter, I was a little discouraged thinking I was going to have to shell out big bucks to a pro.

Thankfully, I think I can handle this myself.
